PLACES TO VISIT
BOLOGNA
Just 15 km away you can visit La Dotta, La Rossa and La Grassa, the capital of the Emilia-Romagna region. Must see city attractions: the Asinelli Tower, the 7 Secrets of Bologna tour, the Basilica of Santo Stefano, a group of sacred buildings known as the Seven Churches and the Basilica of San Luca.
CITY OF MISA
The Etruscan city of Misa, Marzabotto, discovered in the second half of the 19th century, reveals the religion, culture and social life of the Etruscans. The remains of this ancient Etruscan city are preserved in the “Pompeo Aria” Archaeological Museum.
MOUNT BIBELE
Mount Bibele is just 25 km away, and has uncovered important remains of Celtic and Etruscan materials - they are exhibited at the Luigi Fantini Archaeological Museum; one of the most important collections in Italy and the most complete in the region.
VILLA GRIFFONE
Just 14 km away you can visit the villa of Guglielmo Marconi - Villa Griffone - which is home to the Foundation providing access to the museum, the Marconi archives and the experiments in the didactic section.
DOZZA
Just 50 km away you can visit the majestic Sforza fortress. Commissioned in late 400 by Caterina Sforza, a noblewoman and Lady of Imola and Dozza. The fortress owes its present appearance to the transformations of the purely military structure into a stately palace. The headquarters of the Emilia Romagna Regional Winemakers Association is located in its winery, ideal for tastings of regional wines including our own top productions.
MONTE SOLE
Just 28 km away, the park covers almost the entire area involved in the massacre of Monte Sole in 1944. This protected area was created to keep the memory of this tragic event alive and, in addition to protecting and enhancing the environmental heritage, it also aims to disseminate a culture of peace, especially among the younger generations.
GROTTA DEL FARNETO
Just 8 km away, the Grotta del Farneto is the most famous cave of the chalk based karst landscape system found between the valleys of Savena, Idice and Zena, and was rediscovered by Luigi Fantini.
MONTE CIMONE
Just 50 km away, Monte Cimone stands over 2,200 metres above sea level in the heart of the Apennines. It hosts the largest ski resort in the northern Apennines.

TREKKING
We propose three routes on our hills: one to the ancient church, one to the war shelters and lookout, and one to the ferruginous spring. We can provide a map with a QR code which you can scan with your mobile phone and discover our territory.
SPA AND ACQUA PARK
Just 28 km from Podere Riosto you will find the most marvellous health village. The thermal spa baths are open all year round, the Acquapark from May to September.
MOLINO DEL PERO GOLF COURSE
Just 50 km away, you can find an 18-hole golf course located in the Bolognese Apennine hills, ideal for both the more technical player and those who see golf as a means to fully enjoy the surrounding environment.
EL PASO EQUESTRIAN CENTRE
Just 9 km away you can enjoy the best the Bolognese hills have to offer on horseback under the expert eye of Francesco De Rosa. Every Sunday morning (from 10 to 12), there is a class dedicated to children to introduce them to the magical equestrian world.
